Janessa has been playing the piano for 19 years and the violin for 16. She graduated from Brigham Young University December 2013 with a Bachelor's Degree in Music Performance with an emphasis in Piano. She is currently in the degree program to receive her Master's degree in Music Education from Boston University. She has been teaching since 2005. Students
in her studio receive proper instruction in technique, theory, and performing. Each student is expected to
push themselves to become the best musician they can be. They will
be taught to play with cleanliness, accuracy, and musicality.
Students are encouraged to perform in annual recitals and festivals. Competitions are available upon request. During the fall through spring students will attend group classes to enhance performance
ability, theory concepts, and music history.
Aside from Janessa running a professional studio, she also is available to be hired as an event pianist. Some of the events she has performed at are wedding receptions and dinner parties.
This blog has been created to provide information about Janessa's background and experience, policies, tuition and fees, as well as contact information. Feel free to explore and to contact Janessa should you have any questions or interests in the studio or in hiring out an event pianist.
Thank you!
